Default Quick question about 2009 active headlights

I was just wondering if the 2009 XC90's active headlights did a start up test when the car first turns on.

Thanks!

Does no one have the active bi-xenon headlights to confirm whether the headlights move when the car turned on?

Most cars that have adaptive headlights perform a start up calibration.

When the car is initially started they should perform a quick lowering and then return to normal (Self leveling mechanism doing a self ck). They only move left and right once the car is moving above 2 mph(?) and if its dusk / dark.

John Guest is correct. When I start up my V60 the lights go up and down within about two seconds and then stay at a certain position. They only move when you turn the wheel while in motion. You'll also have to have Active Bending Lights on in settings, but that's on by default when you start up the car like City Safety.
