Rear door window replacement for a 2006 XC 90 Left-hand drive 2006

Hi out there. Does anyone know how to fit a new rear door replacement electric window glass? I have removed the door
panel and the broken glass from the aluminium support on the regulator, but I cannot understand how the new glass fits in the door. opening it looks too big. Can anyone help?

You have to take the small fixed window out to make room to get the sliding glass in (or out if it's in one piece!)

Thank you

Many many thanks for the info . I have managed to remove the residue broken glass from the aluminium glass support bracket with the two blue plastic retaining clips. I hope that the new window will clip info the existing bracket with two blue clips? I hope I don’t have to drill out the two retaining rivets holding the bracket to the regulator and fit the new bracket , which was supplied with the new window from Volvo. Once again many thanks. Kind regards

I am having difficulty removing the fixed quarter window, I have removed the the top screw and the bottom bolt , but I cannot move the quarter window to the left , do I need to remove the top guide seal or any of the exterior mouldings ?

Great news after much effort,I managed to remove the quarter window. It helps if you remove the shiny black exterior trim and use a screwdriver to lever the wind from the bottom first whilst holding the interior bottom rubber up at the same time. Then once you have moved it a few times push from the top and rubber finally releases. Remember to pull the rubber seal first at the top of the window aperture..

Eureka , I have done it , I hope I never have to replace another rear door glass again , many thanks for all your help .. I would never have been able to have done with All the help and diagram. Next task is to replace the tail gate
gas struts, fix the exterior mirror glass that has come loose and fix the broken centre console armrest , sort out the sticking drinks holder lid and I am done. Once again many thanks
