Internet Modem Failure?
I have a 2017 XC90 with an active SIM card in the car's Internet Modem. It has worked in the past but I didn't use it very much but in the past month or so, I noticed that, although my phone showed an active connection to the In-car network, the connection was not actually providing any kind of data flow to the phone that would allow use of any of the phone's apps. I checked with my Carrier to see if I had a faulty SIM card and, just to make sure, they replaced it with a new one. Same thing, the phone shows a connection but there is no data flow. I've checked all the setup information from the user manual and I've checked the problem with a second phone. No luck.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Any ideas on what I can do other than paying a dealer to take a look at it?
