Hi everyone. I have a 2005 XC90 with about 115k miles on it.
I recently found out there was some recomended maint for the vehicle around 105k that was fairly involved. I heard the water pump should be changed but could someone provide me a list of the service(s) recomended for this vehicle with the miles that are on it? I plan on keeping it a while as its been a pretty good vehicle, thanks in advance.

I would have the timing belt, water pump, idler pulley, and tensioner replaced as well as the fuel filter. An oil change would also be good if not done recently. All that runs about $1100 out the door, at least here in Cleveland. Check the ATF fluid (the yellow dip stick) and make sure the fluid is still pinkish, not dark brown. If it is brown you should consider having the transmission fluid changed.

As the above post asked, which engine do you have? The 2.5t and the 3.2 both have a rubber timing belt which should have been change by now, If you change it its a good idea to proactively replace the water pump at the same time. The 4.4L V8 uses a timing chain (three of them i think) they way outlast the rubber belts but you probably want to think about changing them around 120k. I agree with the transmission fluid, if its clean and pink on the dipstick its probably ok, but I think Volvo recommends changing the fluid and filter at 100k. One of the most overlooked fluids to change is the brake fluid. Brake fluid gets contaminated with moisture which corrodes the brake cylinders and other brake assemblies, its a good idea to change it every two years, I've started using Valvoline synthetic brake fluid, it has a higher boiling point than conventional fluid and doesn't absorb water.
Good luck with your Volvo!
