Service Light for 2013 XC90
Quick question guys. I normally post on turbobricks as I have a 780.
The manual states the car is due for service every 10,000 miles or 1 year, which ever comes first.
I have 8300 miles on it and the one year service would be due in 2 weeks based on when I bought it. It won't hit 10,000 miles until December based on how little it is driven.
Does the service light come on only with mileage and not with time?
My Audi is every 10,000 miles or one year, and the audi will trigger the light either on mileage or time since last service.

there is also engine working hours. So if car idles a lot that also can light service message.
Plus time is usually starts from the time of production instead of time of delivery(unless serviceman did service reset). So just call a dealer to be sure.
