Default Sound improved! -XC90

Our XC90 has "premium" audio system, and I had found the sound to be "acceptable", but not so good. It seemed that the sound was not clear/clean enough. After endless searches on the web it became clear that in order to improve the sound of the OEM system, it would need to be removed completely, and aftermarket head unit/amp and possibly speakers to be installed. Removal of OEM system would present a problem since rear park assit is tied into it, I would lose steering wheel controls, and who knows what else might happen. It also would cost more then I was willing to spend on the sound.
I started searching if anyone installed JL's Cleansweep and found one post on Swedespeed.com -the author said he had to remove one of the 3rd row's seat cushion to make place for the aftermarket amp.
Today I went to seek advise from the shop that did my previous SUV (Pilot). The owner listened to the system and said that "It sounds very good for the stock system, there is nothing to be done except to rip it out and install completely new after market system".
After a little pause he added: "maybe you could use better tweeters..". We agreed to try aftermarket tweeters and if I did not like the sound, he would charge me a small fee for the experiment.
We disconnected one of the OEM tweeters and connected Boston Acoustics tweeter instead. We played a CD and were moving balance right -to-left and back. The sound WAS better w/ aftermarket tweeter!
They installed both tweeters which came w/ it's own crossovers, and the sound is clearer and has more volume/air in it. They charged me $150.00 for parts+labor, and I think it was worth it. The new tweeters fit well under original cover, so you can't even see that the tweeters were replaced.

Yesterday rear tweeters were upgraded -installed two 2" midrange drivers into original location by rear gate.
Again, first, one speaker was connected, and we listened for any difference -sound was louder and clearer, so both were installed -the result is more "air" and clearer sound quality . I was not looking for loudness, but only wanted to improve sound QUALITY which was achieved by this install.
After that they opened rear door -there is a 6" woofer w/ a small tweeter on it -the rear channels consist of one woofer/midrange and two tweeters?

Both front and rear tweeters are 1" drivers, the diffetence is that front ones have two capacitors, and rear ones have one capacitor. The driver units do seem to be identical.

P.S.
The sound now is on par w/ decent aftermarket systems-it did not match the sound of MB S500 which had Eclipse Navigation/JL 6 -ch. amp. and BA Pro-series speakers, but that system easily was >$5,000.00

Speakers used are DLS speakers 2" midrange drivers (made in Sweden, Gotenberg)

I believe 4 Ohms. The OEM tweeters have impedance marked on them ( I think.)

I am about to install a Eclipse or Pioneer hard drive Nav/DVD/CD/iPOD single DIN into my 03 XC90, been doing a lot research and it seems economically the best way to get all that in the XC90. Wish me luck.

I finally did it. Installed an aftermarket double din touchscreen entertainment center/ Pioneer AVIC Z1. Everything is good but we have one problem:

THe turn signals and keyless remote won't work. What's wrong. Circuit Breaker?

FLIP?

Maybe during install some wires were pulled?
I would definitely check ALL fuses/ALL fuse boxes first.
If you used installer to do the job, go back to them, if you did it by yourself, try to re-trace your steps...
