Hi guys
anyone had this, the starter motor on my 2008 XC 90 V8 is playing up when starting, sounds as though I am using a near flat battery as it struggles to get it spinning, however battery is new and the same thing happens when using a jump start, just erratic turning over then finally firing up. When running it is very smooth, no fuel problems, new spark plugs (it did the same on the old ones) Only done 110,000 K's. I just had my local volvo dealer scan it for faults but nothing showing and nothing showing on the car messages, dealers mechanic said probably starter motor or could be earth lead ? I really don't want the expense of a new SM if it's just a minor issue, any suggestions appreciated, thanks
