Hi All,
I've been searching this forum and scratching my head for the location of the radio. I've recently changed out the front panel icm without success. Some here indicate its in the cassette, while others indicate its in the roof, under the plastic panel just in front of the rear hatch. Looking at that panel, I really don't want to tear into that unnecessarily..
Does anyone really know and have they had success replacing that unit after the system went dead.
Also, I also know the rear sensors aren't working as many have noted in their issues too.

 

Well, I answered my own question After one of you guys indicated that it was in the panel just in front of rear hatch and noticed that the panel didn't extend across the rear fully, I pulled it off and sure enough, there was the radio unit as well as the GPS component
Now it's to figure if indeed it is the radio, amp,cd player, or the control unit that's bad

 

What was the culprit or solution in the end.. did you find out? Im having trouble trying to find the unit above replacement here in uk. Think they scrap the cars and don't realise its in the roof panel maybe..hmm 🤔

I've now found one ..but I have read somewhere that the audio system has to be recalibrated.. hmm 😒
