Windshield replacement
 

I was driving home the other day and got hit with a rock and a large crack close to half the length of the windshield has developed.
Does anyone have any negative experience with using aftermarket PPG windshield or should I stick with the OEM? I was told by my dealer that I should use the oem because of the rain sensor.

I am trying to decide if I should stick with the Volvo OEM or use the PPG, any thoughts or comments please share.

If it is insured I would opt for the OEM, any deductable would/should be the same for the out of pocket portion.

Not insured, you can always add windsheild coverage to your policy and claim next month.......
