Hi,

My front wiper stops in the middle on the windshield and then suddenly starts to work. It stops anywhere and then after playing with stick for long, it starts by luck.
On the fast mode its works fast for 3 or 4 turns and then slows down and then stops.

I serviced the stick with contact cleaner today. Checked if there is any ground problem with the Rain Sensor . Nothing like that. Well the motor and its micro switch was also swapped. My close mate taking care of the car suggested me to have a new switch stick.

The rear wiper along with front and rear water spray works just perfect.

Please suggest.

 

I had the same thing on a Mercedes S Class and it ended up being the wiper motor was going bad.
