XC90 ICM Matrix Help

New to this forum but I was really looking for some assistance. The ICM Matrix displacy on my XC90 (2005 plate) is blank, i have purchased one online and tried to replace it, when I turn it on it appears to work but the display is different, my previous ICM was the High Performance Sound one but this one looks more basic and the display more like bold characters.

I need to compare the serial numbers on my ICM (which i should of done first) but seeing as it works I'm curious if there's any issues with leaving as is or whether i should try and return it for the correct ICM?

The ICM is actually the whole unit in the dash. The piece your asking for is just a display.
There are two different types available. One is called matrix,the other is called numeric.

If you give me part numbers from your orignal one and the part number from the other one,i can tell you which one is which.

Also,there is a vin split in the display. I need to know if the last 6 digits of your VIN are above or below 537392.
