WTB: 855R, 855 T-5R or '98-'00 V70R
 

Howdy,

I am new to the Volvo community, but I have always loved them since the Yellow 855 T-5R was released. I am looking for a sporty wagon to use as a daily driver and way to get my service dog around. My current daily driver is a Z06 Vette, doesn't work too well with a 90lb dog. I've been around cars my whole life, including years of racing and running a Porsche race/modification shop.

I am looking for a reliable and clean car. I have been shocked at how bad some of the cars have been that I have looked at in person, or have been sent videos from out of area cars. I am willing to travel for the right car. I suppose I would consider other Volvo wagons other than the 855R, T-5R and V70R is they have some good modifications and have similar performance.

I met artizen at some EuroSunday events and have been picking his brain on the cars to look at, and get his overall opinion on the cars. So far it has been a very frustrating search, but I am hoping I can find a nice car in the future.

Good news, I bought a car. I need to wait 2-3 weeks for it to be transported to me. 2000 V70 R with under 120K miles.

Me too. I am trying to figure out if I go with 17" rims, what size tires to get. I guess IPD says to go with- 225-45-17
