Default Alloy wheels

Hello all

I have just bought a set of 17" multifit Wolfrace alloys for my 1999 Volvo s40.
When i tryed to fit them the other day, i found that they didnt go flush with the wheel hub, there is a half inch gap because the center bulge on the hub..is too big to properly fit through the hole in the middle of the alloy..can i do something?.. or am i knackerd.. cheers Dave.

Hi Dave,
If you know of a good machine shop you could probably have them clearance the wheels. That would be my guess. Or return the wheels. (I'm not sure if spacers would help you out or not, but it might create a whole different problem altogether so I'll let someone else suggest them).

My question to you is did you buy these rims knowing they would fit? Or did you buy them not knowing much about them?

That is good, take pictures and post them in the Sights and Sounds part of the forum.

Thanks
