Default lowering an s60

Hello there. This is my first post so bare with me. I recentely bought a 2001 Volvo s60(2.4) about six months ago. I bought some Eibach springs that lowered both the front and rear 1.2"inches. It looks great. But now i would like to move up from the 16" rims and up to the 18" Pegasus Wheels from the S60R with lower profile tires. Would you think there will be any clearance issues such as rubbing on the fender or anything of that sort. Would you recommend putting in the bigger wheels with stock springs instead.

I think you would be fine with 18s. They should fit with ease but they've been known to rub on tight turns and make parking a little more difficult.

Go in between. Put 17's on with the lowered springs. I put 17's on my S60. Haven't lowered it but if I did I think the rubbing would be minimal.

Will the outside diameter of the tires be the same? S60's are known to rub (especially with certain tires) in the first place. That with the lowering might be an issue, but I would think it would only really be at or near full lockas long as the overall tire diameter is the same.

Personally, I would tryit if youthink you will love it. It won't be hard to sell Pegs ifit doesn't fit.

well put the 18" pegs on and must i say, it looks GREAT. there is no other rim that looks that good on this car. the tires are 235/40R18. And yes they do rub quite alot on full lock, probably even 3/4 lock. I might go back and get 225wide tires instead of 235. Hopefully 1cm difference will help
