03 Unlock settings
I just joined this forum and after searching I couldn't find an answer to my question, so here goes.
I recently upgraded from a '94 Volvo 940 to an '03 XC70. One of the features of the 940 that I loved (and took for granted) was that when I was inside of the car and opened the driver's door, all of the other doors unlocked.
This is not the case with my XC70. Instead it only unlocks the front passenger door and leaves the rear passengers trapped inside until I unlock the door manually. The other issue is that since the unlock button on the driver's door is basically a toggle, I have to push it twice to unlock the back doors. This usually leads to the passengers trying to open the door as I unlock it, thus leading to a comical "Wait... ok try now."
My question is, would there be a setting somewhere that makes all the doors unlock when I open the driver's side door from the inside? And just to be clear, this isn't a child lock problem. Once the doors are unlocked the passengers can open the door from the inside.
Thanks.
