Where is the best place to find 140 parts?
The question is pretty much in the title. I'm a relatively new owner of a 1971 142s and parts are hard to come by. I've found many things on ebay, i.e. the gauge cluster I'm about to install, manuals, etc. but it's the small cosmetic things that are hard to come by. These are also not cars found every day in salvage yards and 240 parts don't transfer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm really hoping there is some guy somewhere in the US that stock piled parts. I knew a guy like that in the BMW community, and so many NLA parts became so much easier to come by.
Thanks,
Blake

We are in the same boat giant!!!(1967 142s), if you find any please let me know fenders inner fender etc!!
(do not forget if its engine parts alot of the volvo's around that time used the same engine and trans and i have found some parts that way)
here are a few websites i found that carry alot of hard to find parts reasonably priced:
Swedish Treasures Vintage Volvo Parts
classicvolvorestorations.com

I have a 72 142E with transmission laying on the floor in shop. Engine ran a couple of years ago. Also parts for 71 and 72 142.
Priced to move. In the middle of Kansas.
----------------
4 speed back off floor and in car. Running pretty well. Not much of an idea what car is worth. The only apparent rust is a spot about 1 inch in diameter near windshield.
Someone earlier wanted picts.
