I recently replaced a worn out Weber carb with a new one on my 1969 145 Volvo, and for the life of me I can't connect the choke to work effectively--mostly because the choke cable has to reach around to the right hand (passenger) side of the carb--it's too long of a reach from where the Stromberg connection was (driver's side), and as a result the carburetor is never fully choked. Is there any adaptor out there that solve this problem? Is there a longer choke cable available.?
