i have a 2000 s-70 glt-se with the 8-speaker option ( 2 on the dash, 2 in the front doors, 2 in the back doors, and 2 in the back panel behind the head rest). i was wondering how you take out the speakers in the very back so that i can replace them with new ones. i would like to know because i have two kicker comp 15" subs in the truck and i cant hear the words. thanks everyone. jason
The carpeted panel in the back window is held in with clips. You will need to remove it to get to the speakers. It is pretty easy to get out but harder to put back. You have to work with removing the seatbelts from the holes.I can't remember if there is a plastic ring that goes in the panel or if there is just a cut in the bottom to slide the belt out of.
