Default driver side window problem

1998 s70 with 90k miles. window stopped working in the down position. the circuit breaker fuse is not the problem. i took out the switch, cleaned it, put it back together, and it worked briefly. help???

The switch is bad.They are known to go bad.They collect alot of dirt and stuff like that.Becareful not to wait to long I have seen the connections in the switch short and melt the switch and the plug for the wiring.

Exactly what Tech said, same thing happened to me right after I bought mine (it did have 148K on it) Ebay is your friend for a new one (cheaper than the dealer or other parts sources)
