Hi I have a new 06 S40T5. Being a T5 its a fairly fast car, and I enjoy it very much. But for being how fast it is, the exaust noise really doesn't match up. I'm really looking for a way to give it a more purposeful sound to it. Its not really loud what im looking for, more like exciting if you know what i mean. I know heico and other brands sell mufflers and such that cost 600-1.2k, but I really want to keep it on a much, much smaller budget if its for just making better noise.(I'm also not much to fall for 7hp gain). Is there a way I can add more sound to my T5 without completely replacing my muffler? And, oh yeah I'd much rather not void my extended 7 yr warrenty hehe.

Thanks

Add a cone filter to your car instead of a panel filter, you will hear the CBV more, which is kind of like a stock BOV.

I suggest having a local muffler shop custom make you a 3" downpipe if they can and a 2.5" catback with free flowing muffler like Magnaflow.

Make sure they can mandrel bend too.
