The wheel nuts have some rust on them, is there anything i can do to easily get rid of it, or is it supposed to be like this? Is there supposed to be some sort of cover over them?

Thanks

Volvo did a recall on some models with rusty wheel lugs. They replaced mine on a 2001 XC70 with chrome ones. BJ

You can buy Covers for the nuts from Volvo to hide the rust.

Volvo would replace under Warranty if they were rusted and complained about them.

how long is the warrantee on rust? is it lifetime (i thought i remembered seeing that)?

Anywho, its really just a cosmetic issue, I'm content to cover them. It would be nice if instead of replacing the nuts, volvo could send me the covers for free. I shall call them and ask.

The warranty for the Nuts would be the 4 Year 50,000 miles.
