850 Wheel disigns..Do they mean anything?
Ive seen a few different wheel styles on the 850 wagons and Sedans, is there a certain type that comes on Turbo models?
Ive seen the swept spoke, and the ARGO style, and one other style that is similar to the swept spoke style.
Main concern is 93-95 models.

Most of the turbos came with Columba wheels, the R models came with theVolan wheels and my Platinum Edition came with Persus wheels. There was no turbo in '93 and they came with 4 bolt wheels, I think the "premium" alloywheel was a Cetus - that wheel carried over to the later years with 5 lugs.

The wheels are interchangeable with all of the FWD Volvos, most of the used Rs I see have something other than Volan wheels or Pegasus wheels since the wheels are worth as much as the car if it is a beater. I am sure my 1994 N/A did not have Columba wheels off of the showroom floor nor did it have the spoiler. When I bought the1996 for my boy it had steel wheels and pie plate hub caps and I upgraded him to Cetus wheels off of eBay. The way to see if it is a turbo is to read the VIN (standard turbos have 57 as the 6th and 7th digits in the VIN numberwhereas the N/A has 55 in those same positions) or to just look at the motor. The airbox will say turbo and there is apipe to the intercooler that runs more or less above cylinder 5.
