I am selling my orange all original Volvo 142.
I bought this car for my son in the hopes of an easy fix. I am not a mechanic, but have enough knowledge to get the car road worthy. I swapped the injection system with a Weber carb purchased from IPD. I did get the car running and drove it down the road and back. I am having issues with fuel supply. I swapped the fuel pump and line as well. When I did get it started, the car smoked (white) quite a bit. I would love to keep it because it has beautiful lines and is a rare find, but I know even if I were to get it running, my son would have a difficult time keeping it running. I just dont have the time to do the work. The car has never been wrecked, but does need body work. There are areas of rust, but none that go thru. In the trunk there is a rust hole that would require weld patch. It is on the driver side of the trunk where a spare tire would sit. I will send pics upon request and update within a day of the pics I have. I have invested about $2500. Asking $2000.
