Question Need help replacing XC70 Tail Light Lens

How can I remove the interior panels so that I can replace the driver side tail light lens on my 2004 XC70?
They appear to pop in and out but I am not sure how to go about it.

Default I found the answer

I searched the internet and found a series of PDF's which describe how to remove the interior panels in order to get to the tail light lens. I was able to repace the lower lens unit ($168.00 from local dealer!) using these directions. (Note I had to convert the contents of the PDF's in order to provide this information - sorry if it seems a bit confusing)

The images are shown in the order 1-5 of the instructions that follow:
(1) Replacing a Tail lamp,
Removal
Common operations
Remove:
-The loudspeaker grille on the D-post. See
Loudspeaker, D-post, replacing

-The side panel cover. See Cargo (just pull the tab to expose the Circuit breakers) compartment side panel cover (no picture above)

-The cargo compartment side panel. See Side
panel, cargo compartment, replacing
-The cantrail panel. See Panel, cantrail,
replacing
-The D-post panel. See Panel, D-post, replacing

Upper tail lamp
(Must be removed before the lower tail lamp)
-Disconnect the connector
-Remove the nuts (2)
-Remove the tail lamp and the end piece for the cover strip in the roof joint
-Remove the end piece.

Lower tail lamp
-Remove the upper tail lamp. See above
-Remove the nuts (3)
-Remove the lamp
-Disconnect the connector.

Installation
Tail lamp
-Install the lower tail lamp unit first if necessary
-Everything else is installed in reverse order.

(2) Removing the loudspeaker in the D-post
-Detach the loudspeaker grille by releasing it
at the lower edge and pulling straight downwards
-Pull out the clips
-Angle out the loudspeaker. Disconnect the connector.

Installing the loudspeaker in the D-post
Install: In reverse order.

(3) Removing the cargo compartment side panel

Remove:
-the side panel cover. See Cargo compartment side panel cover
-the blind cover plug (cover)
-the screw.

Caution! Grasp the rear edge so that the clips
release. Change your grip and pull off the clips
by pulling forward.
Fold the panel down so that it is parallel with the
floor and lift upwards.

Installing the cargo compartment side panel
Install: In reverse order.

Caution! The floor hatches must be removed
before the panel can be installed.

(4) Removing the cantrail panel
-Remove one screw
-Pull the panel straight down.

Installing the cantrail panel
Install: In reverse order.

(5) Removing the D-post panel
Remove:
-The cover for the side panel. See Side panel,
cargo compartment, replacing
-the cantrail panel. See Panel, cantrail,
replacing .

Caution! Detach the panel in the following order.
Otherwise the panel may be damaged.

-Grasp the edge. Pull inwards so that the clips
release (1)
-Detach the upper edge at the window so that
the panel can pass the gas strut (2)
-Pull inwards so that the clips in the opening
release (3)
-Lift upwards.

Installing the D-post panel
Install: In reverse order.

Note! Align against the sill trim panel and the load securing eyes.

Yes, Thanks!

That might want to be made into a sticky. I used the same procedure when I had to replace the upper tail light lens on my wifes 01 XC 70 when I lost an arguement with a tree while backing up one might (long story and she still will not let me forget it)
