tail light lens of a 1984 Volvo 240 DL sedan

Can you replace the tail light lens of a 1984 Volvo 240 DL sedan with the lens from a 1985 Volvo 240?

Yes, they all have the same hole positions and flexible electrics board. the only difference in 240 tails is prior to 81 i think and there is also 5 panels and 6 panel options.
