How do I change the headlight low beam bulb?
This is probably a no-brainer but I can't figure out how to replace my front driver side low beam headlight bulb. The case that holds the bulbs looks like it's attached with metal clips that I removed but the front lens wont come off. I'm not sure if there are clips at the bottom of the lens because I the front bumper is in the way. Under the hood I removed the large rubber grommet where the wire goes into the headlight assembly but I can't figure out how to get the bulb out.
Thanks for any help.

I feel your pain. I broke the plastic bit yanking on the wires on the back. First, the bulb is removed out the back. You do not remove the front lens for this. (You can remove the glass but with much difficulty once off the car. The bulb still won't come out this way)
On my car the plastic holding the 2 wires to the bulb has broken off. The secret here is that each wire has a clip that locks onto each prong of the bulb. You must depress the little tang that locks the clip to the prong on the bulb. Get a strong light and take a close look. Once you see how the clip attaches to the prong it's easy to remove it. If it's the driver's side consider removing the battery to get a very clear look.
Once the wires are free from the bulb you can release the bulb holder. This is a thin, strong, and flexible wire bent into a U shape. The wire is hinged at the bottom of the U. The arms of the U slip under catches on top and bottom of the bulb holder. To release it you gently squeeze the arms while pushing towards the bulb until the arms are clear of the catch. Now gently pull the arms back and let them swing clear of the bulb. This is much harder to describe than actually doing it.
