I put this on before and it was taken down or it did not make it to the original posting. I do not know which.

I am looking for some type of user's guide to use Volvo VIDA/DICE once it is installed (no small feat).

Maybe the software is intuitive and thus a users guide is not needed. However, I doubt it.

Is such a guide available?

Just playing around with it should he enough to figure it out. It isn't too complicated. There is probably a help link but I'm not sure, I've never needed it.

The hardest part will probably be setting it up to work. I've heard horror stories about the eBay clones.

 

The horror stories that you heard about installing it: they are all true!

I'm just looking for a reliable source for VIDA disks that actually work.

 

All the disks I've received work if you have the correct Windows version. That is the key. I have personally found Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Pro and Ultimate work.

Now someone once posted a link to a virtual machine version that would work with any version of Windows. Ok, I found it. Check this out:

I will make sure that I am running XP pro or 7Pro. Where is a reliable place to get the disks for 2013 S60 T5 ? I ran into a problem once I got to the Password screen. Kid

 

Done the ebay thing...........at least they gave me a refund. Downloaded the official installer, and it loaded straight onto my Win 10 X64 machine no problems...........till the username and subscriptions thing...........Uninstall all that. Where can I buy a Vida/Vice setup that will install to hard disc...........doesn't need the internet or registered usernames........and that Volvo are basically happy with. Ive had my S80 a long time and would like to be able to continue to enjoy it

Didn't it come with instructions on how to install it? Mine was hacked but it still asked for a user name. I think the generic admin worked.
