If u recently got an "SRS Airbag Service Urgent" warning light from disconnecting the climate control unit. Or Flash your transmission fluid and want to reset the fluid counter. It will be explained below.

I used VIDA version 2011D with a Dice brought from eBay (a cheap chinese copy). I did it on my 2003 Volvo S60 AWD 2.5T.
(This is how i did my car so it may be different from other and now I'm sharing my knowledge to you.)
(I will not take any responsibility if you damage your car.)


Basic Installation:
*System Requirement*
Windows XP Professional, 2GB or more of RAM, 20GB of free space, IE 8.0 works best.
(I ran it of a virtual machine. And my VIDA version is 2011D.)

-Run the installation from Install\DVD\Vida_dvdheader\Main\setup.exe.
-Select VIDA All-in-one.
-Select language.
Than follow a few prompt.
-After that restart computer.
- Wait for the VIDA icon in the task bar to go green than click on VIDA All-in-one.
-Log in as: admin.

Connecting your Dice to VIDA
-Click on Vehicle Profile and under "Communication tools" select your Dice to "Read your car".

How to reset "SRS Airbag Service Urgent" warning light.
-First go to Fault Trace.
-Than delivery tab.
-Scroll down and click "READ ALL" to get all your error code.(get all error code check first)
-After error code get checked click on "ERASE ALL" to clear all code.

How to reset "Transmission fluid change counter and Transmission adaptation systems"
-First click on "Diagnostics" tab.
-Than click on the sub tab "Vehicle Communication"
-After that go to TCM module, than go to advanced tab.
-From there you click on Transmission Fluid Change Counter and fellow the instruction to reset both transmission fluid change counter and adaptation systems.


Hope this help your guys with your SRS warning light. Or resetting your TCM after a transmission flash.

Well i got mine from ebay. The seller sent it out very quick but the CD that the seller provided (VIDA 2012D software) it had issues installing. So i decided to download the software myself. The DiCE itself works fine no problem at all.

in the end i got software from piratebay (VIDA 2011D) good enough for me. the cd kept getting error code when installing. didnt care about the cd just wanted the DiEC reader in the first place.
