2012 S60 T6 - Active bend headlights - quirk
Having some strangeness with my headlights, wanted to know if anyone else has had issues.
Model: Volvo S60 R T6 with active bending headlights. 12k miles.
The issue is the headlights dont always turn all the way to the extream sides (they will bend a little, but stop at a certain point when making right turns sometimes. I have to turn the wheel left and then back right to get them to bend further around the curve) and they deactivate at higher speeds (above 55+mph it seems like). My other 2011 T6 does not do this so not sure if its a "feature" of the 2012 models or not. It turns and operates its headlights at any speed an on any turn, which is preferred as I get better light coverage. I can only guess they put a stop limiter in the headlight unit to help with vibrations, but best guess.
It is under warranty, but the guys at the local Volvo dealership are not really helpful or thorough when doing work. I'll have to provide them with specifically what I want them to do for them to fix anything.
(left my cover off my fuse box, could not update my firmware properly on my radio, would not upgrade my wife's S60 with the same firmware without a code and refused to look it up, strange issue with my folding mirrors where I can get into the car, start it and they do not open sometimes and they said they cant fix it and made no attempt to reload the SW to see if it would resolve it, etc...)
Thoughts?
