Power Window Problem
My drivers side window doesn't work properly. When I close the window using the express auto open, the window goes all the up but then goes right back down to where I closed it from...
Anyone have experience with this? I asked a service tech and he says it has to be hooked up to the computer and it costs $100. Any insite?

Mine have same problem with both front windows
I assume it is not something mechanically wrong when both having problem at the same time. Window goes down half way after hit the top. I took it to the dealer and they say it needs "calibrate" cost one hour labor $110-$120. Anyone knows how to do the "calibration"?

Keep trying the 5 second thing. Try it both at the top and the bottom of the window cycle. We have had the problem with the express window feature on and off for a while. Right now it is working....but the transmission is deader than dead....given the two, I'd rather have a working transmission.

Window fix
The sensor needs to be reset. You almost had it with the 5 second thing, but missed a step.
Find your manual and locate the fuse for the appropriate window. find a tool appropriate to pull the fuse. A small needle nose should do. A plastic tool is best. In the XC90 the fuse panel is on the driver side of the dash, and is fuse#5.
1. turn ignition to on. (Do not start motor)
2. Hold tool ready to pull fuse.
3. While running window down, pull fuse. Window will stop about 1/2 way.
4. Turn off ignition & replace fuse.
5. Turn on ignition & bring window the rest of the way down by holding swithch.
6. Bring window all the way up & continue to hold swith in up position for 5 seconds after window has closed all the way.
Your window should now be working properly.
