Default Back with a V70!

Hopefully.

My mother and father have had a GM minivan since 2002 as my mom's vehicle. With my brother off to college in a few weeks, me being out of college, there's no need for a minivan that has a DVD player and all that space.

We offered our van up for trade online and were presented with a 1999 V70. Fairly certain it's just a "Base" trim.

Cloth/leather seats, no sunroof, no tint, and steel wheels. Not my personal favorite, but my mom doesn't need a turbo with all the bells and whistles. She drives roughly five minutes to work a day

My mom's always liked Volvo wagons, and it seems to be a good fit.

It has 133,000 miles. Unsure of last T-belt job, but I figure to do it anyway for good measure.

No issues with the car other than book value is less than our van, which she isn't really concerned about, but still.

Anything else I should look for beyond the typical car stuff and PCV, Timing belt, etc?

Check those vacuum hoses. I found many of the hoses on my V70 cracked and falling apart. If you smell anti freeze in the cabin its a good chance the heater core is leaking. V70's are notorious for that. Change out all the fluids then you can drive it like you stole it !!
