I have a 98 V70 glt, my check engine light was on so I scanned it at work. (I work at advance auto) the code confirmed the IAC was bad. Does anyone have experience with just cleaning it out and putting back in? For kicks and giggles I erased the code and it hasn't come back on, (it's been about a day) usually codes like that would come back on after about 30 min of driving. I'm also not actually experiencing any symptoms of the IAC going bad. It doesn't idle high or low, the idle doesn't jump around. But I think just cleaning it out might get rid of the code if it comes back again?

Any opinions or input are welcomed.
