Make my '98 V70 GLT AWD equivalent to t5 or t5 r?

I'm a new guy with a new car. Just bought a 1998 Volvo V70 GLT AWD. It has a 2.4 with a lp Turbo and its so solid wagon, I love it! I honeslty preferred a t5 or an R. I was wondering if there was any way I could boost my GLT 2.4 Turbo to be equivalent to a R or T5? Cheapest and easiest way? I want something to surprise people

Short of changing the engine/transmission/computers/wiring/etc this is impractical. The days of swapping a 350 chevy when a 305 was there originally is over.
