O-Ring for Brake Pedal Position Sensor
Yes. Mine got sucked into the booster.

As soon as I pulled the sensor, I heard it happen, my butt clenched up, and a cold sweat drenched me as I remembered that I was supposed to get rid of the vacuum by pressing the brakes a bunch.

Since I don't have the original to compare it to, but only the sensor to roll each o-ring I try up on, could anyone give me an idea as to what the size of the o-ring for the brake pedal position sensor is?
I haven't been able to find it on its own (w/o the sensor $110+)...
FYI: 2000 Volvo V70 (2.4L non-turbo, base)
Many thanks in advance!

Sooooo, I contacted FCP, nice guy there named Bill Petrey looked into the size of the o-ring.
Nuthin' doin'.
Volvo, in their infinite wisdom, has not published the size of the o-ring.
But, I CAN buy the whole assembly for $108...

Stop looking, if you are out there Googling for Volvo Brake pedal position sensor o-ring size and you have come upon this post.
It doesn't exist.
Well...it exists, but it is a closely guarded Swedish secret.
American ingenuity wins-out however. I rummaged through a box of o-rings at the parts counter of Pep-Boys, and -viola!- an o-ring that fit and looked about right. An air conditioning o-ring.
Got it home. Plugged 'er in, and no more vacuum leak.
Too bad that wasn't the problem I was trying to fix...
