Hello All,

I would like to make a 'Volvo Reverse Intercooler' kit. I know IPD and FCP sell a kit but I am looking for something more budget friendly.

Does anyone know if it is possible to swap the necessary tubes from a newer (2001 - 2006) S60/V70 on to a 2000 V70 GLT?

The tube from the turbo over the engine to the top of the intercooler. The other tube goes from the bottom of the intercooler to the throttle body.

The existing turbo routing is adequate and already paid for, thus, budget friendly.

My advice is to keep your money in your pocket. These "performance mods" are not worth the 2/10ths of a horsepower that you might get.

 

This makes sense. Just needed some clarity. Thank you for the feedback.

 

Pictures are gone, but you can use make your stock hose and pipings into RIP. Not pretty but functional.

My advice, same your time and money for something else, like a 16T turbo, set of injectors and a calibration.
