Questions
So I am very certain my heater core is bad I just want to see what you all think and some ideas on what to get as a replacement. As I was driving my car back from PA to VA over the weekend I heard a gurgling/babbling sound, kinda like a coffee maker coming from the dash area of the car. It occurred when under a load meaning I was accelerating or going up a hill. I did have a faint smell of antifreeze when this occurred not bad, the carpets are not wet and coolant level never changed. I watched Roberts How to Video and I am certain I can do this no problem, I am not big on buying parts off ebay I prefer RockAuto but I am willing to try ebay if others have had good experiences with a seller and highly recommend.
Next, on startup the first 10-15 seconds its a bit erratic with its idle, goes between 500-1500 rpms, after that it idles fine at around 800-1000. This only happens on startup. Does my Throttle body just need to be cleaned? What should I use?
Lastly, the PVC needs to be changed, on cold startup the glove inflated (I did the test right didn't I?) How difficult is this I am handy but nervous about removing things like the fuel rail and I assume the exhaust header.
Thanks!

Buy the heater core on eBay that Robert had in that video. That's the one my cousin and I put in his car, and it is great. We had the connections on wrong the first time (and dumped all the coolant over my garage floor), but it has been great. No more antifreeze on the floor, and not as much coolant loss. He thinks the coolant is evaporating, as it's mostly water.
