Happy owner of a 99 v70 T5. My radio just quit working out of nowhere. If you turn it off it goes off if you turn it on it says off. CD player doesn't work neither does the cassette player along with the radio. It just says off. I saw somewhere in my fiddling with itthe word code. I don't know what the code would be so I pressed a few numbers and then it went to off again. How would I get 4 digit code for radio ??? And what do you have to do to get it to say code again ?

 

If its the original radio to your car, you can get the radio code using the VIN

If its a replacement radio, pop the radio out to see if somebody wrote the code on the unit or inside the glovebox or owners manual.

To get the code entry to reappear, you can follow the instructions in the link or just wait 2-3 hours with the car off (ie don't drive it).
