radio has a mind of its own

Hi
my '99 v70's radio is acting up. First off, I do have the correct 4 digit anti-theft code.
This weekend I disconnected the battery to do some work on the car. Once reconnect, I went to input the radio code. The word CODE illuminates, and I enter the code, however, the radio does not unlock. The 4 digit code remains on the display, and there is no response from the radio.
Additionally, I have driven the car 2.5hours with the radio "on", with the code displayed (that's to say the 4 digits) thinking that perhaps for some strange reason, the radio needs to reset.
Any advice to trouble shoot, or is the radio toast?
Thanks in Advance

Thanks for the reply.
In my case, the 4 digit code stays visible on the LCD screen, and the radio will not turn on. I've pulled the radio out, disconnected it - and repeated all the steps you show in the vid.
I've disconnected the battery, and tried again. The radio lists "code", I enter the correct 4 digit code, and nothing happens. The code simply remains on the LCD.

Hi, I had same problem with CODE Reset, it was not TOAST was something simple about Reset And Wait for some amount of time in accessory Mode. Not sure but it came good when I went away for a while after leaving it in that Mode came back & it was fixed all of a sudden, trying to think where I read about it. I think I just wrote in Google Page... Volvo Radio Reset!! & that gave me the Advise I needed, try your luck with that
