Default Special tool for pulling head?

I was told I needed a special tool to remove the cylinder head on my 98 V70. Is the correct? If so where would I get one? Thanks.

plenty of vids on Youtube talk to removing the white block head (yours will be same as an 850). The challenge is in the assembly not the removal as you want to maintain even pressure - search around for some vids/posts of some of the home made assemblies people have used like this one:

Good luck and let us know how you make out.

The tool that you need is, as mentioned above, for reassembly. That same tool typically has the cam locking tool for cam belt timing as well.
