Upgrading the headlights on a 1998 Volvo V70
The passenger side headlight and signal light assemblies on my 1998 Volvo V70 were destroyed in a recent (minor) accident. They will need to be replaced.
Are there headlight assemblies out there that will fit this car and which make use of newer headlight technologies, such as LED or HID bulbs, rather than the older halogen bulbs?
If so, are there any brands that forum members would recommend?
If I do have to stick with the older halogen technology, are there particular suppliers people would recommend, and am I correct in assuming it would be best in this case to replace both sets of light assemblies -- passenger and driver side -- to ensure the headlights match and provider similar levels of light?
In case it's relevant, I live in Pennsylvania in the USA. The V70 is the base model.

There is a direct replacement made in Taiwan that is fabulous in quality. Brand is TYC but a lot of vendors don't really share that. They're just a copy, but having a new reflector of good quality is a big improvement over flaking reflectors that people commonly have. For the $100ish they cost, I would buy both if your existing headlamps don't have really great reflector surfaces.
Don't know about the LED and all that. I see where IPD has a projector kit listed but they say it's not really available yet. I don't know what that means.
