My SRS light has been on for a while and I finally got my mechanic to scan the code. His conclusion was I needed a new passenger side seat air bag but when I Google that code it comes up with a sensor on the right hand side of the car (Side crash sensor RH). Is a SRS 616 fault code really a bad air bag or just the sensor (sounded like the sensor on the B-pillar)? How often have any of you heard of an air bag in the seat failing?
