This may be obvious but I'm clearly missing something. The net integrated into the rear seats can be attached up near the roofline but can it also be pulled straight back? I feel the answer is yes but I'm uncertain where it attaches on the left side. The pole that extends toward the left will not reach the point I suspect it latches. Ive owned the car a couple years now but had never attempted to use the net until yesterday.

 

Can anyone please take a moment to explain?
