Default “Transmission Performance Low”

Hi Folks - worrying warning came up on my 2012 V70 D5 today. Anyone had this before?

Quite frustrating since I had Volvo Maidenhead change the transmission fluid last year to try to minimise future faults as she’s done 110k now.

Many thanks

Hi,

Did you find the solution for "Low performance transmission"?

Thanks,
Florian Dumitru

Hi
The warning light went away next time I started the car and hasn’t been back since! She’s still going strong, 125k and never skips a beat... not that I’ve used her much this past 12mths 😩
Bizarre.
cheers

Stranger things have happened.
Were it my car I'd consider refreshing the transmission fluid with a drain & fill.
It is 10 MY old and has 110K.
Admittedly, I am not familiar with the "P3" design.
I've owned a '99. '02 and currently an '07.
All 3 benefitted from fluid refreshment.

Obviously, do whatever you like. Cheers G&K

Mine literally just did the same thing, so I looked it up and found this thread. Turned it off and back on and it's gone. My OBD11 sensor didn't even find anything wrong.

Default Ive been having this issue aswell as “URGENT TRANSMISSION SERVICE”

Im currently doing a ATF change because my car could not keep in a gear, nothing had leaked but when I’ve changed the fluid it was a dark brown, I’m in the process of topping it up half litre at a time and still finding this issue, next half litre will make it 3 litres.

anyone else had the problem of slipping gears?
