I'm new to the forum. I just purchased my first Volvo, A 2004 V70 wagon. I love the car. When I purchased the car, the front speakers were not working. The only speakers that are working are in the back. I have the HU 613. It doesn't matter where the fader controls are, the fronts don't work. I can cancel out all sound with the fader. It seemed unlikely that all of the front speaker are blown or not working. Do you guys think its the HU 613?, the speakers?, something else?

 

What do you know? How much did you pay?

 

I replaced the HU-613 and Viola! they started working but I think they're blown (they buzz). Ordered new (used) ones. They're not hard to replace. The car is great otherwise except the previous owners were absolute slobs! Took me several days and lots of scrubbing to clean it up.
