Is it possible to easily replace a v70 front bumper with a v70r front bumper?

The dealer said there were items behind the bumper that needed to be changed and that those parts would be $1000.

Can anyone confirm this?

I prefer the look of the R front bumper so I hope this is an easy swap.

Who are you to tell him he's wasting his money if it's something HE wants to do. Also, he wasn't looking for opinions as to what others thought, he was looking for tips on installation.

To answer your question, yes it is possible to swap a R front bumper on your car. You not only have to replace the cover, but the rebar, absorber, fog lights, all grilles, and any deflectors/air guides applicable. Your best bet is trying to source a complete front bumper assembly with everything still attached.
