2004 Volvo V70 2.5t Fuel Pump failure?
Hi all,
2004 volvo v70 2.5t. Ran fine yesterday, gf goes to leave for work today and says the car won’t accelerate.
She takes mine and the Volvo sits for 5+ hours. I go to turn it on and hear a strange gurgle sound when the pump/injectors usually engage. I continue to start the car, which turns over easily enough, but idles poorly, has a CEL, and shows limp mode is engaged.
Can’t pull any codes yet, but does this sound like a fuel pump/injector issue?
The car apparently had the gas light come on last night before being refilled. We’ve had erratic weather lately. Possibly condensation or sediment from letting the tank run low?
