New to this 2004 VOLVO V70 L5 2.5L. I'm sure you all have much more knowledge of the V70 then me.
I'm trying to figure out if I need the 1" thick or thicker 1.5" cabin filter.
I would prefer to have a new filter at the ready before I open the cranny under my glove box as who knows what may be in there or what shape the old filter is in. Guess I can buy one of each but it would be nice to know proper size rather then play return a filter.
I've read that the 1.5" thick cabin filter is for cars that have the auto and manual air circulation button. I do not have a choice on mine. It's manual.
I've also read that if my HVAC console is auto or manual, it will also need a 1.5" thick cabin filter.
I've also read you just have to open it up and see which one is in there.
Attached is a pic of my console. Can anybody say which cabin filter I may need? Or is it a guessing game?
