Default Catalytic Converter

Hello. New here. I have a 2004 V70 2.4L Non-Turbo Auto transmission, B5244S engine. I have the luck of getting a P0420 CEL, catalyst system efficiency below threshold .
I was wondering does anybody know if this specific vehicle has two
converters, or just the one under the vehicle before the muffler?
Can I use aftermarket catalytic converters like DEC?
Thank you very much for any help.

Yes you can use aftermarket catalytic converters. I used, Magnaflow Catalytic Converters at CWIK as they had the best prices and free shipping.

You may want to watch Scotty Killmer's you tube video for the code before you do anything.
I have an aftermarket cat on my car and I get error codes all the time.

Thanks for the information. I did find out that it is the catalytic converter. Decision time.
Thanks again.
