Default Fitting Spare Wheel

Just bough a spare wheel for 2016 V70. Then got a puncture immediately. Took Volvo jack from 2007 V70 out with me but couldn't find a way of making it work. Fortunately not far from home so went back for trolley jack - but can't carry that around all the time! Is there a Volvo foldable travel jack for these later models? Also hard to find the jacking points.

Your 2016 jack is placed directly under the rocker panel with a scissors type jack as shown below, where the 2007 has a bar to attach the jack to.

Brilliant - thanks. Bent the hook a bit on the 2007 jack, but easy repair. So I need to source a new jack for this car - just glad that they exist as the car came with one of those repair canisters.

Can I ask a supplementary question - tried to put new spare wheel in the car and it doesn't fit. Hoping/ assuming a spacesaver wheel will be smaller in diameter. Why have Volvo skimped a couple of cm's - the depth is there and you could get a full sized wheel in the Mk2.
