Question Headlight wiring harness conversion

Hi. We bought a 2006 V70 yesterday. Apparently the headlights were broken so the (very small) dealer installed new lights.

However I found the headlights weren't working and upon inspection found the harness connector does not correspond to the lights.

The car has the 30763548 harness as per this image but the lights have a single 4-pin connecter as per the next image. Does anyone know what color codes go where or should I remove a light and identify which pin is which and do my own thing?

Your post is oddly phrased.
How could anyone "install new lights" and not turn them on upon completion to see if they work?
I assume you're speaking of the entire headlight assembly...not merely burnt out bulbs. Are these H7, H11 or HID units?
It sounds like the very small dealer procured incorrect "lights".

Your question with regards to testing is very valid. It is what I always do even upon mere bulb changes etc.

My logic tells me they procured the incorrect headlamp units and then didn't bother with making them work and so also did not disclose that when they sold it to me.

I must be honest that I did not yet check which bulbs it uses but looks like it could be H7 or H11 or a combination of both. Will check in a bit and let you know.
